Muscat, March **, 2020: In line with its commitment to strengthening relations within the institution, Oman Tourism College (OTC) recently organised an open day for both its academic and administrative department staff at the Millennium Resort Musannah. Commenting on this open day, Dr Abdulkarim Sultan Al Mughairi, Dean of OTC said, “We are proud of all the hard work undertaken by all of our staff, who have unceasingly sought to develop and enhance our students’ skillset during this semester, so as to prepare them for their future journey into the market. We are continuously looking for ways to provide highly-qualified human resources, in all spheres of the tourism and hospitality sector. Keeping this in mind, we decided to organise a day out for all our staff, in a non-work environment and one of the best resorts, renowned for its recreational and sports activities. This is to ensure they are re-energised to take on the upcoming semester with reignited zeal. Furthermore, the event is in accordance with the college’s values and objectives that place high importance on innovation, cooperation, teamwork and the pursuit of continuous improvement. The staff open day will create a platform for communication by encouraging interaction and the strengthening of inter-departmental relations, which in turn will have a positive impact on our educational environment and the quality of services provided to students.”
